SEO didn't work.
Google did.

I run a mobile semi-truck repair business in Salt Lake. I paid for SEO — it didn't move the phone. Then I ranked my own Google Business Profiles. 323 first-time calls came through Google in 30 days, against 39 from every truck directory combined. So I made a business out of it: Summit Park Digital.

/ My own numbers

Google vs the directories

Pulled straight from my CallRail — one managed shop, Salt Lake metro. These are first-time callers only — each number is a different person calling about a job, not the same trucker dialed back six times. The short window shows the lift from listings added in the past two weeks; the 30-day window is the steady state. Both beat the truck directories combined.

/ Why I built this

I did it for my
own company first

I run a mobile semi-truck repair business in Salt Lake. For a while I paid for SEO — a retainer, month after month — and the phone never moved. Treat the whole city as one search result and SEO is invisible; nobody scrolls past the map pack.

So I claimed my own Google Business Profiles, one per service area, and ranked every one of them into the top three. In 30 days, 323 first-time calls came through Google. The three truck directories — NTTS, Find Truck Services and Truckdown — combined sent 39.

It wasn't close. So I'm making a business out of it: Summit Park Digital. We own and manage the listings, run them through CallRail, and cap five per city. Hold all five and there's nobody left to compete with.

We own the listings

Summit Park Digital owns the Google Business Profiles and manages them through CallRail. Every call is tracked and transcribed — you get the transcripts, so you always know what was quoted.

No bidding war

NTTS, Find Truck Services and Truckdown all auction placement against you. We don't. We place five listings per city — then close it. Hold all five and there's nobody left to compete with.

The truck calls the closest

When a semi breaks down, the driver searches and calls whoever's nearest to the top of the map. All five of your listings ranked top-3 makes that you — every time.

Price-shop proof

When customers call around for prices, the transcripts show exactly what you quoted each one — so you hold your original number and close the job instead of racing to the bottom.

Our listings, dominating the grid

Live Local Dominator scans of every Google Business Profile we manage — six listings across three markets. Each pin is one search location; the number is the rank our listing holds there. Green is the top. In Salt Lake we already hold the field. In Las Vegas and Reno we're climbing to take them the same way.

/ Full disclosure

Yes, we pay for premium on all three directories — paid in full, yearly subscriptions. Across NTTS, Find Truck Services and Truckdown combined, we spent $5,780 in a year ($800 NTTS + $3,000 Find Truck Services + $1,980 Truckdown) — and that's before bidding for #1 on NTTS, which could push it even higher with more listings. Their 30-day calls combined: 39. Google alone: 323. Real money into the directories — and Google still wins by 8×.
